This 3-day program is designed for the professional painting and decorative finishing
contractor. Troweling experience is required. This program is an extensive look into the history, manufacturing, and application of specialty mineral- and lime-based plasters.
This program features fine imported mineral plasters from Novacolor, Forli, Italy and Coverit, Venice, Italy.
Instruction includes wall preparation, tools, mixing and tinting, application techniques, burnishing/polishing, and soaps, waxes, and sealers. Applicators will create portfolio-quality
boards.

• Learn the history and application technique for Tadelakt, a traditional Moroccan wall
finish originating in the Marrakesh region. With an olive oil soap sealer, this product is
great in wet areas such as shower surrounds.
• Marmorino, a natural lime and marble flour blend can be finished to a variety of popular
sheen levels and styles. Its natural composition makes it anti-molding and fungi-proof.
It is ideally suited to high humidity areas.
• Instruction will also include Fine and Extra Fine Intonachino matte plasters used in base
coat and decorative fashion.
• Introduction to Coverit All-Terrain Micro-cement coating for walls,floors, showers.
Course fee of $1,299 includes instruction, support materials, daily lunches and
refreshments, trowels and flat blades. Pre-registration required.
